Hey there!
We are are clinical dietitians and university lecturers with more than 12 years of experience in both fields. After years of working together in the private clinical setting and developing courses for the nutrition programs of the Lebanese American University (LAU) & the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (Usek), we have finally decided to join forces and co-found the Dietetics Institute for Continuous Education (DICE). DICE’s aim is to be the first educational platform in the region to provide high-quality, evidence-based and up-to-date trainings for dietetics professionals and students.
Witnessing the large gap between nutrition theories and practice when it comes to designing proper dietary interventions, as well as the struggles faced by dietitians when counseling patients, we have decided to pour our exhaustive experience in teaching and counseling to create advanced trainings that we like to call practicum. These trainings rely heavily on diet planning, case studies, one-on-one counseling sessions, live simulations, testimonials and brainstorming, hence our mission “Turning nutrition theories into practice”.
Since its creation in April 2019, the success of DICE’s trainings has contributed to reaching attendees from more than 20 different countries.
Recently and after noticing the growing interest of non-dietetics audiences for nutrition, we have decided to start series of workshops open to ALL audiences with the aim of offering accessible, high-quality and practical nutrition education for all. As instructors and clinical dietitians but also as mothers and women entrepreneurs we both firmly believe in the empowerment of people through education. Today, DICE’s new objective is not only to spread nutrition and health awareness through advanced trainings for dietitians but also to offer workshops, coaching and group therapy to all audiences.
Becoming the leading educational platform in the region to offer high-quality, accessible, evidence-based trainings and group therapy to everyone.
